There's no need to paint or protect it from the elements - every tank is manufactured from top quality, medium density polyethylene. Harlequin use a rotational moulding process to form the tanks in one piece. This creates a stress-free container that has a uniform wall thickness throughout. Unlike other processes, this means it has tremendous resistance to any form of cracking or splitting.
Installation is easy, because these tanks are around half the weight of an old style metal tank. And there's no need to build supporting piers -the tanks can be placed directly onto any flat concrete surface. They will never rot or rust. You can even have your tank installed below the level of your boiler by using a low-cost Tigerloop.
Each tank has an sealed aperture ready to accept an Oil Watchman sensing probe that will advise you remotely of the level of fuel in your tank.
